Lux Nails and Lashes provides professional nail care and beauty services, including but not limited to:

  • Manicures and pedicures
  • Gel applications (builder gel, hybrid gel, Gel-X)
  • Nail art and custom designs
  • Waxing services
  • Hand and foot massages
  • Kids’ manicure services

All services are subject to availability and are provided at our salon location.

2. Appointments and Bookings

2.1 Scheduling

  • Appointments can be made online through our website, by phone, or in person
  • We recommend booking in advance to ensure availability
  • Appointment times are reserved exclusively for you once confirmed

2.2 Cancellations and No-Shows

  • We require at least 24 hours notice for appointment cancellations or rescheduling
  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee
  • No-shows (failure to arrive for a scheduled appointment without notice) may be charged up to 50% of the service cost
  • Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may result in a requirement to prepay for future appointments

2.3 Late Arrivals

  • Please arrive on time for your scheduled appointment
  • Arriving more than 15 minutes late may result in a shortened service or rescheduling to accommodate other clients
  • Full service fees apply regardless of shortened service time due to late arrival

3. Pricing and Payment

3.1 Service Fees

  • All prices are listed on our website and are subject to change without notice
  • Prices quoted are for standard services; additional charges may apply for extended time, special requests, or add-on services
  • Applicable taxes will be added to all services

3.2 Payment Methods

  • We accept cash, credit cards, and debit cards
  • Payment is due at the time services are rendered
  • For online bookings requiring deposits, payment information must be provided at the time of booking

3.3 Gratuities

  • Gratuities are not included in service prices and are at your discretion
  • Tips can be given in cash or added to credit card payments

4. Client Responsibilities

By using our services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate contact information for appointment reminders and communication
  • Inform us of any allergies, sensitivities, or medical conditions that may affect services
  • Notify us immediately if you experience any discomfort during services
  • Follow aftercare instructions provided by our staff
  • Respect our staff, other clients, and salon property
  • Arrive in a condition suitable for receiving services (clean hands/feet for nail services)

5. Health and Safety

5.1 Sanitation

  • We maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation
  • All tools and equipment are properly sterilized between clients
  • Single-use items are disposed of after each client

5.2 Health Conditions

  • Please inform us of any health conditions, infections, or concerns before receiving services
  • We reserve the right to refuse service if we believe it may be unsafe or unhealthy for you or our staff
  • Clients with contagious conditions, open wounds, or infections may be asked to reschedule

5.3 Allergies and Reactions

  • While we use high-quality products, allergic reactions can occur
  • Please inform us of any known allergies before services
  • We are not liable for allergic reactions to products used during services
  • A patch test may be recommended for clients with sensitive skin

6. Age Requirements

  • Clients under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian
  • Parent or guardian must provide consent for minors to receive services
  • Certain services may have minimum age requirements

7. Service Results and Satisfaction

7.1 Expectations

  • Results may vary based on individual factors such as nail condition, lifestyle, and aftercare
  • Photos on our website and social media are examples and do not guarantee identical results
  • Service duration (longevity of gel, polish, etc.) depends on individual factors and proper aftercare

7.2 Corrections and Touch-Ups

  • If you are unsatisfied with your service, please contact us within 48 hours
  • We will make reasonable efforts to address your concerns, which may include complimentary corrections
  • Corrections must be performed by Lux Nails and Lashes staff

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Lux Nails and Lashes is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of our services
  • Our total liability for any claim related to our services shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service in question
  • We are not responsible for damage to natural nails resulting from removal of enhancements by unauthorized persons or improper aftercare

9. Personal Property

  • Lux Nails and Lashes is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property
  • Please keep valuables secure and with you at all times

10. Photography and Marketing

  • By visiting our salon, you consent to photography for security purposes
  • We may take photos of our work (nails only) for portfolio and marketing purposes
  • If you do not wish to have your nails photographed, please inform your technician
  • You grant us permission to use photos of our services on you for marketing purposes unless you explicitly opt out

11. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Lux Nails and Lashes and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our written permission.
